A MOTHER TO NINE CHILDREN
“Thank you so much. May the Lord give you the same relief you’ve given me.”
Emebet Awoke is a 47-year-old mother of nine who has been suffering from prolapse for the past three years. She is from Wogera, Gondor, and is now ready to go home following the right sacrospinous suspension fixation and anterior colporrhaphy procedure done for her stage III Uterine Prolapse (UVP) and cystocele.
Emebet recalls the initial stages when the prolapse was smaller, and she could manually reduce it. However, over time, it became increasingly difficult. Alongside the physical discomfort, she experienced challenges with urination, pelvic discomfort, and a persistent dragging sensation. These issues not only hindered her ability to work in the field but also limited her capacity to walk long distances, significantly impacting her life.
Post-surgery, Emebet experienced relief from her symptoms. Grateful for the free surgical intervention, she expressed her newfound hope for the future, especially in terms of being there for her children. Emebet extends her gratitude, saying, “Thank you so much. May the Lord give you the same relief you’ve given me.”
