Living with HIV has changed the way I care for my health. I’ve learned to pay closer attention to my well-being, and recently I discovered how important it is to understand cervical cancer. When I went for a cervical cancer screening, the provider explained that my VIA result was positive. At first, I didn’t fully understand what it meant, but the clear explanations about the next steps and treatment helped me feel prepared.

Now, at 34 years old, after receiving the right treatment, I feel more confident, and reassured. I have come to understand that cervical cancer screening and treatment are essential for women living with HIV like me.
