Emergency Health Response

Emergency Health Response

Between 2021 and 2023, conflict in Tigray led to the near collapse of the health system. Over 70% of health facilities were damaged or destroyed, leaving millions without access to basic healthcare.

Wings of Healing responded by delivering continuous, lifesaving medical services to displaced and vulnerable communities—even under communication blackouts and severe supply shortages.

👉 Care did not stop. Hope did not stop.

💛 Stories of Hope and Resilience
Care Restored, Dignity Restored

Mothers walked long distances carrying sick children. Chronic patients had gone months without medication.

At the clinics, they found:

  • Treatment
  • Compassion
  • Stability
  • Dignity

Care became a source of hope.

Community Impact

The program went beyond healthcare delivery:

  • Equal service for IDPs and host communities
