100 Women Restored to Health and Dignity

We are delighted to announce the successful completion of 100 free Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP) surgeries for rural women at University of Gondar Comprehensive Specialized Hospital.

The life-changing procedures were performed by a dedicated team of urogynecologists, providing women with access to specialized care that would otherwise be difficult to obtain. Many of the beneficiaries had endured years of discomfort, pain, and social challenges caused by untreated prolapse. Through this campaign, they have been given a renewed opportunity to live healthy, productive, and dignified lives.

Beyond transforming the lives of patients, the campaign also served as an important capacity-building initiative. Gynecology residents received hands-on mentorship and practical surgical training from experienced specialists, helping strengthen the future workforce needed to address women’s health challenges across Ethiopia.

This milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to improving access to quality maternal and reproductive health services for underserved women and ensuring that no woman continues to suffer from a treatable condition due to lack of access to care.

100 surgeries completed.

100 women empowered.

100 lives transformed.
